1. About these Terms

Welcome to The Return Lab website at [www.thereturnlab.com.au] (Website).

The Return Lab is operated by Samantha Summers, ABN [insert ABN] (The Return Lab, we, us or our).

These Website Terms & Conditions (Terms) govern your access to and use of this Website.

By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Website.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any updated Terms will take effect when they are published on the Website.

2. About The Return Lab

The Return Lab provides workplace consulting, advisory, training and coaching services designed to help organisations improve maternity return, reintegration, retention and the experience of working parents.

Information about our services published on this Website is provided for general information only and does not constitute an offer capable of acceptance.

The scope, timing, fees and other terms applying to services provided to a client will be agreed separately in a proposal, statement of work, engagement letter or services agreement.

Where there is any inconsistency between these Website Terms and a separately agreed client engagement document, the client engagement document will prevail in relation to the services covered by it.

3. Website Information

We take reasonable care to ensure that information published on the Website is accurate and current. However, workplace practices, legislation, organisational circumstances and research can change over time.

Content on this Website is intended to provide general information and should not be relied upon as legal, employment law, financial, medical or other regulated professional advice.

Organisations remain responsible for their own employment practices, policies, decisions and compliance obligations and should obtain appropriately qualified professional advice where required.

We do not guarantee that any particular commercial, employee retention, engagement, cultural or organisational outcome will result from using information on this Website or engaging our services.

4. Corporate Services

Submitting an enquiry, booking a discovery call or communicating with us through the Website does not create a consultant-client relationship or oblige either party to proceed with an engagement.

An engagement begins only when the parties have agreed to the relevant scope and commercial terms in writing.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, quotations and proposals may be withdrawn or amended before acceptance.

Any services provided by The Return Lab will be subject to the terms contained in the relevant proposal, statement of work, engagement letter or services agreement.

5. Coaching and Training Participants

Some services commissioned by an organisation may involve coaching, interviews, workshops, surveys or other interactions with individual employees.

The collection, use and disclosure of information arising from those services will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and any confidentiality arrangements agreed with the commissioning organisation.

Where individual coaching is provided, any specific arrangements concerning confidentiality, organisational reporting and the sharing of participant information will be explained as part of the relevant engagement.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.

Intellectual property rights relating to materials specifically developed for a client will be governed by the relevant client engagement agreement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights, guarantees, warranties or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.

12. No Guarantee of Results

We may publish information concerning workplace retention, employee experience, leadership, maternity return, organisational performance or other workplace outcomes.

Any examples, statistics, case studies or potential benefits discussed on

the Website are illustrative and do not constitute a guarantee that a particular organisation will achieve the same or similar outcomes.

We will treat genuine business enquiries submitted through the Website appropriately and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

However, you should not submit highly sensitive, commercially confidential or privileged information through a general Website enquiry form unless we have agreed with you that it is appropriate to do so.
